Simulated Texture in Media

Simulated Texture in forms of media are used to simulate a feeling that you'd feel if the object were right in front of you. For example, this photo of Mario shows individual hairs on his mustache, eyebrows and hair, as well as the individual threads on his overalls. It simulates the feeling of his jean overalls and his hair.

Simulated Texture is used in media to give off a feeling of realism to the viewer. It's important to have simulated texture in media so that the viewer would understand how something would feel if it were right in front of them in real life. Simulated Texture also gives a feeling of not just how something would feel, but also an emotion. The photo of Mario above gives off a happy feeling due to it's bright colors and its lighting. In a way, it almost gives off an adventurous feeling. His hat on the other hand, has simulated texture in the way that it looks fuzzy and warm, and it's bright colors show that it is brand new. If the hat were darker, smudgy, and had dark lighting on it, we would be able to see that the hat were old and it would give off a more sad feeling.

In conclusion, simulated texture is important for making a great project. It gives off a sense of realism and makes the viewer feel something. Bright colors and fuzzy textures will make someone happy and warm, while darker colors and smudgier textures will give off a more sad feeling.
